Things have turned out to be quite interesting these last few months.  I was notified early February the house I've been renting for a few years was going up for sale.  I was put into quite a little predicament, find a new home/apartment to rent or maybe even look into buying a home.  A few hours after getting home from work I spoke with my roommates and a seed was planted for another option...leave my job of over 12 years and move in with another friend of mine, whom I travel to conventions with, and try to make a living with my art.  I'd been planning on doing so for a while but kept waiting for the right moment; having my house go up for sale became that moment.  I'll be moving in with my friend tomorrow and will finally get to pursue my dreams.  It'll be a crazy, stressful, but (and I'm being hopeful here) ultimately, it'll be a fun, fruitful adventure.

So yeah, I haven't exactly been good a keeping up on posting things on here...

Anyway, after a fairly disappointing year of conventions (though I still have two left before the year is over) I've come away with a better insight into how I'll be approaching my art and how to better follow through on my ideas...more on that later

For those that are curious, the last two conventions I am looking to attend are the Tree City Comic Con (Oct 17th & 18th) and the Spokane Comic Con (Oct 24-26).  If you find yourselves at either of those shows, feel free to stop by and say "hi".

Decided to finally get around to starting up a journal on here and figured getting back from ECCC 2013 was as good of time as any.  I had a lot of fun this year, met some new people, and came home with some new ideas that I can't wait to get started on.
